Waking up in a bed had been odd, and disorienting. Realizing he was human had been even more so. Freddy had tried to check for Gregory, check if he was connected to any databanks, anything, and had come back with nothing. His vision was different, less than it used to be, and falling from the bed had hurt. He'd never experienced pain before, but now he understood why it made humans cry so much.
A quick glance over himself proved he was clothed, which was a relief, he wasn't sure he wanted to fight with figuring out how to put clothes on before going in search of Gregory, but he knew they were important for humans to wear. Freddy noticed he was a little shorter than before, but still tall for a human, and that his shell design had been transposed onto his clothes, pants that flared out at the knee and turned read, his signature blue mark on the chest of a tight shirt, with a vest over top of it that had red shoulder pads, his wrist bands. On the bed was his hat, which he quickly recovered, pushing his shaggy cut dark blond hair back out of his face.
Freddy realized, very quickly, that there was no way this was the Pizzaplex, it was far too small, too quiet and didn't have enough neon lights to be anything even similar. Inspecting the building he'd woken up in led him to meet the woman calling herself his 'mom', someone he was honestly grateful to get away from with only a bag of supplies, a ball of some sort and a very awkward hug.
Then he found himself outside... it was the first time someone had simply rushed him out the door, into the outside world, and he had to stop and stare at the snow drifting lazily from the sky, slightly mesmerized by the newness of it all. It was only once a gust of wind had chilled him that he remembered he had someone to be searching for.
"Gregory? Are you here Gregory?" He called out, trying not to shout, in case there were dangers nearby, but wanting to find the boy he'd been protecting. He stepped away from the house and set out to search the town he'd arrived in, looking for Gregory.
[A few hours later, after finally breaking into his backpack of supplies, and learning from the guidebook a little, Freddy was finally accessing his PokeGear. In the frame of the video was a twenty something man with messy dark blond hair pushed back from his face. The face itself had a kind of mask of blue with a red outline, around his purple eyes, and a stripe of blue from under his bottom lip and down his chin, the color also on the bit of facial hair that he had only in that area. Perched atop the man's head, 'wearing' a top hat that was too small for the man, was a Mimikyu.]
Gregory? Gregory do you hear me? Where are you? It's me, Freddy. I am so sorry, I only just woke up... I hope I have not made you wait long for me. Please let me know where you are.
[The man's expression was worried, and his voice carried that tone, as well as being a bit horse. Freddy was worried, he didn't know for sure but, if Gregory wasn't here, that meant he'd left Gregory, left him to deal with things alone. The worry about the boy was deeply eating at him. They had gotten out but... what if Gregory wasn't safe alone?]
