Well this is interesting. I knew that I really want to witness Carmen evolving into a Roselia at any moment but I didn’t expect her and Amarantha to evolve at the same time so soon.

(Isabela is filming at Azalea Town’s town center as she just arrived in the town sometime after the recent 4th Wall shenanigans via the location switching, but she is not holding the PokéGear though: she is in the middle of trying to buy lunch for the team at the moment. The camera operator of the day is Félix the Noibat as he is holding onto the thing for her. He then switches the camera angle to the aforementioned Pokémon in question. Antonio the Ponyta is also there, whining (not in a bad way) about the new forms of two of his teammates.

Any person who has met Carmen in the past will now notice that she has bloomed both literally and figuratively for she now has thorns on her head and ARMS!!! Arms with flowers to be exact. Isa has finally gotten a high enough Friendship to let her starter Pokémon to evolve into a Roselia of her dreams. Carmen is now a walking plant with flowers instead of a walking rose bud with legs.

Meanwhile Amarantha is now on her hind legs and is now a grass anthro cat, swinging a rose bud like contraption with her now arms like it is a yoyo. Isabela didn’t knew that Amarantha was a couple of levels higher than usual at the time she got her in the recent Prom at Tojo Falls and it is only now that she got to evolve into a sneaky Floragato.)

Rose! Rose-lia! Lia! Flor… Flora-gato, Gato!

Noibat! Noi, Noi!

I guess that I might have landed in the Pokémon evolution jackpot to have two Pokémon evolving at the same time. Now I have to tell Amarantha to stop scaring the birds with that rosebud yoyo of hers… She has been enjoying her newfound bipedal form a little too much.

[Rose is sitting outside somewhere, no real identifying markers in the background. Somewhere green and with trees. Her Bidoof is in her lap and she's idly scratching his head.

She looks thoughtful.]

It's strange...

I didn't used to mind being alone for a little while. It was fun. Especially in this world, with so much to see and do and experience. I still have so much to see and do. And of course we always have Pokemon.

But I've found that now, after I've spent so much time getting used to traveling with someone else, I find being alone isn't quite as fun as it used to be. I want to do all those things and share them with someone. Is that a normal human thing?

I keep thinking I must know everything about being human by now, but then I remember it really hasn't been that long. And it's strange that sometimes it feels like it has been....

Maybe that's a human thing, too.

[She hums a contemplative little sound and shrugs.]

[It's later in the evening when this text hits the network. And by later, it's getting close to midnight. A little unusual for Emet-Selch to be up so late, and yet here he is.]

In my time being here, there certainly has been some few theories on what the nature of this world we find ourselves in is. Whether it is its own true living world, a simulation of one, or perhaps even a game. I have mine own theories, but this isn't quite about that.

Nay, I cannot help but wonder that, should this world prove itself a simulation, to what purpose do you believe it would serve? What would its creator wish to glean from this all? Or, if not to acquire knowledge from those of us within, then what is our collective purpose?

It is a thought I find myself considering now and again, and so I wish to know my fellow imports' thoughts on the matter—hypothetical as it may yet prove to be.
