Victory Road!

[Honestly? Fred's been in a great mood since the Whirl Islands incident. His ropes were a contributing factor to the fight against Lugia, after all!

The downtime following the ordeal also means he's had the chance to take care of the shiny egg he received last month. The results of that egg are the first shot of this video- a shiny Shuckle blinking curiously at the screen.

Fred adjusts the Pokegear after a moment, switching the camera's focus to him. He appears to be sitting on the docks in Olivine City- yes, in the middle of the freezing cold. He's at least got a coat on, but he appears to be wearing his normal clothes under that, ascot and all. The Shuckle sits in his lap.]

I love this city! Ever since that whole thing out on the ocean, all the fisherman and sailors here've been so nice. This really sweet old sailor's been letting me stay with her family, and some of her friends've been hiring me to help repair and build nets and rigging!

I dunno how long I'll stay here... but it's nice. Finally, people who respect the trap-making craft. ... I mean, they mostly just care about the nets, but still! It's good to be appreciated. For once.

[He's not outright saying people gotta apologize to him for doubting him before, but that's absolutely the subtext of this. The sailors around here have definitely inflated his ego a bit.]

Oh, also- this little turtle-thing hatched recently. [The Shuckle lazily waves a limb in greeting.] I've been trying to teach her how to build traps, but I'm not really sure she gets it. She just keeps oozing all over the ropes. But she's got some good moves that'll help with trapping Pokemon in the future!

Anyway, I still haven't figured out a name for her. Anyone have any ideas?
