Victory Road!

[Usually when Kisara starts a video, there's some sort of background or something else going on around her. For once there doesn't seem to be, she's merely sitting on the floor of what one can only assume is her room. Not a Pokemon in her lap, nothing like that. She's quiet for a moment, seeming to be pondering over something before she starts, expression relatively neutral.]

I don't know if anyone has the answers, but I was just thinking about this the other day: how does this place manage to translate people? Is it some sort of technology, magic, something else entirely...? Because I know my native language has only a few speakers and, even then, even less who speak it natively. I'm not complaining, it's nice to not have to worry about it, but I can't help but be curious.

[That clearly isn't the only question as there's only really one answer for that when she clearly stated plural instead of singular. She shifts somewhat, resting her head against the wall and watching the ceiling instead.]

It's probably more... theoretical than it needs to be, but do you think, if you were sent back to where you were from, if you would go back to the state you were in before you came here? Would you be alive if you were not? Would you be dead if you were there? Or would you remain in some sort of... grey area if you were between those two things?

[That might be a little deeper than she meant for it to be, but the thoughts still remain.]

I can't help but wonder how you reconcile the god of this place versus whatever god or gods there are or were from your world. [Ah, she's looking at the camera again, the faintest hint of a grin tugging at her lips.] Not that it matters in my case, I already know what my future will entail.

[It's still cold and thus Kisara is chilling in Goldenrod still, because of course she is. But this time there is a very, very squirmy looking axew in her lap that seems on the verge of tears. It's not because of anything she's doing as is evident by the fact she's clearly putting no pressure on the tiny creature, but still.]

I suppose at this point I'm merely going to have every single Pokemon just by them wandering up to me and refusing to leave. Though, this little one seems... rather small. [She sort of looked up the details for this particular species and it's absolutely smaller than it should be, which means one of two things and one of those options she's not terrible fond of.] Considering, well, everything, I'm guessing that she's... been separated from her family. Whether on purpose or accident, I cannot say, but I suppose this is just my life now.

[This is a dragon, she's honestly entirely unsurprised that this would eventually happen. Though she's about to turn the video off before there's a greavard ramming into her lap and forcing the poor dragon to share. Even if that's turning into a loud wailing.]

Eaj! [Oops, too bad the ghost dog is turning the 'gear off in her squirming.]

[Unfortunately for everyone it's a little shaky at first before it steadies, the silver-white haired woman smiling at the screen before she moves to sit back down against a tree trunk. An absol sits at attention next to her, with a bounsweet being placed delicately in her lap. She didn't quite understand this whole thing yet, but she hadn't complained when the little mangsteen Pokemon had basically forced herself into her possession.]

I have a curious question for those that have been here for quite some time: does it get easier? [Oh, that... she's realizing that probably sounds worse than she had intended.] Ah! I mean adjusting to this place! You see, this is... absolutely not like what I am familiar with. It's not unwelcomed by any means, just odd!

[She seems a little more on-edge than before, mostly due to feeling like she might have put people off already by accident. The absol next to her immediately is shoving his face into her shoulder in... what is some kind of calming gesture while the bounsweet is looking up at her with a concerned little noise.]

Mm, it's fine, I promise... [She mutters softly before remembering this thing, a video, was it called? was still recording.]

I suppose my other question is if it's... a relatively normal thing for one of these creatures to decide to want to come with you instead of this whole fighting thing?
