I'm looking for a certain pokemon, but it needs to have its hidden ability. My friend Boober said that only registered breeders can breed pokemon with hidden abilities. (Which, uh, kind of weird? What exactly are you breeders doing different from trainers? How exactly are you contributing here?) So, is there some sort of registry of who breeds what pokemon? Or do I need to call up every breeder and hope I get lucky? I'm willing to pay for the egg, of course. Or I can try and find one of those weird coloured pokemon people like so much to trade for it.

You arrive before the sun sets over the shining sea, a little before 5 o’clock. A fleet of Corviknight taxis descend near the entrance of the castle, slowly setting their passengers on the ground and allowing them to depart. The golden rays of sunshine illuminate the edges of the castle, casting long shadows and making it take on a rather ominous appearance. [Having just been through the whirlwind that was awaking in a stranger's room and then shoved out onto the front stoop by a cheerful-but-forceful woman Lucius just stood on the house's path trying to process what happened. It seemed he'd been swept to the other world once more but, yet, he didn't seem to have come through a bath as had always happened previously... how strange.]

[Suddenly realizing that he'd been pushed-out of the house at the same time as being handed a bag he turned his attention towards the satchel, wondering if some answers might be found inside. With it drizzling as it is, he's grateful for the shade of the house's awning as he digs through the bag. It seems there's a manner of rudimentary supplies, some garments in the style he had grown familiar with from previous visits, as well as one of those delightful lunch boxes he had in his previous crossovers. What sticks out the most, though, is an odd little device.]

[After a moment of thumbing around with the tiny technological marvel, Lucius manages to hit a button that suddenly has him staring at himself on the little screen.]

Gah! It seems they've got a way to store a little mirror in here. How interesting.

[Oblivious to the fact that he's broadcasting video, Lucius shoves his face right up to the screen.]

It's brighter than a reflection would be though, and the source of reflection seems almost... off-center.

[He pokes at the screen, accidentally finding where the camera is with his finger.]

By the gods! Is the reflection all being caught from this one little point?!

So...right now Mira and I were traveling on Route 45. We're still some time out, but eventually it loops back around, and we'll pretty much be close to where we started, right?

We were talking about what we wanted to do after that, and...we're thinking about maybe finding a place to live first? Neither of us have started the gym challenges yet, but I think I'd prefer to have a more permanent place to stay first before doing that, just so we have somewhere to go back to in between taking on the gyms, y'know?

But I'm not entirely sure how to go about...getting a house? It was never really a problem back where we came from, but I know things are pretty different here. So maybe if anyone has any advice for places that are affordable or anything? That'd be a big help.

Hello everyone, I've noticed that the weather has changed and I wanted to make some food for the season. So I was wondering what's your favorite fall recipe or one that I should try? There are still so many different foods in this world that I want to try along with the food I want to make. Since it's getting colder it's a good time to make some soup too. What kind of soup do you like?

[The camera opens right on some quality Riolu toebeans. Which is to say, it's the Riolu who figured out where the record button was, but hasn't got a great grasp of where the camera is. He's picked up back into his trainer's arm's momentarily, a short young-looking woman who is...squinting very much at the pokegear.]

Early Saturday morning, the doors of one of the largest --if not the largest-- convention centres in Viridian City open to welcome everybody to this years Battle Convention.

Spread out across several floors, and the battling fields outside, the Battle Convention is the place to be for anyone with an interest in pokemon battling. Whether you are a hardcore battler trying to hone your craft even further, or a newcomer to the battling scene hoping to learn, the Battle Convention has things of interest to everybody. It's promising to be a busy event, with trainers attending from all over Johto and Kanto. Famous battlers and gym leaders alike can be spotted in the crowds, hosting workshops or even entering in the tournaments.

Helping Hand... [ Minfilia starts her broadcast rather strangely, now doesn't she? ] It seems to me that most battles in this land are one-on-one. It is the sort of battle in the upcoming tournament, and is also the sort which is used in the gym challenge. And yet, our companions have moves which seem to suggest that they are more adapt at battling in larger groups. Helping Hand is but one of them. There are other moves, such as Heal Pulse, that would only aid if you wished to heal your opponent. [ A beat. ] Which is useful in some situations, I must admit - if you find a hurt Pokemon on the road, for example.

I cannot help but wonder if battling with more Pokemon then once is a more accepted thing in other regions. Perhaps it is something we can experiment with? I do not expect we can change the culture of this land, mind you. Yet, it may be interesting. [ Or fun, but Minfilia doesn't say that! ]

[ Kaiba's sitting out by the lake in Violet City, his small Horsea swimming and playing with a Magikarp, an Alolan Raichu, and a Hisuian Goodra. It's a happy scene, but their Trainer's still frowning a little. ]

I'm getting ready to challenge my first gym once Mizuchi evolves, and I've been working and studying here in Violet for the last week or so. I believe I understand the basic strategy, and I'll give it a few days to scrape together enough to buy a TM or two, but I have a few questions:

[ He takes a deep breath. If you thought these questions would be about Pokémon training, you'd be mistaken. ]

Why am I still considered a minor by this world's labor laws? I run my own corporate empire at home, and I regularly work at least 60 hours a week. To suggest I can't handle more than 20 hours of fetching, filing, or cashiering is insulting.

[ A small Meowth bounds up and mugs for the camera. He sighs and gently skritches behind its ears. ]

So in search of alternatives, I've read about Pay Day. Sliver here hasn't mastered it yet, but it makes no sense. How does this cat magically summon legal currency, and how has it not cratered this world's economy by doing so? You can't just print money, it devalues it. Unless it somehow creates productivity by doing so...or the move somehow steals someone else's money. Does it?

*The video opens to a nice view of the interior of Sion and Ryner's house. There's the living room, and the dining room table beyond that, and some of the kitchen counter visible beyond the far corner there. But that's probably not the noteworthy part of the image. In fact, it's probably almost an afterthought, really. Why?

Everything is positively covered in eggs.

There's eggs on the couch, eggs on the armchairs. Eggs on the table and visible on the kitchen counters. Small groups and stacks of eggs on any convenient piece of furniture, and quite a few on the floor. There's even one particularly large pile utterly dominating the middle of the living room.

It's a lot of eggs.

Once everyone's gotten a nice, good view of the terrifying eggocalypse, Sion's voice can be heard from offscreen.*

As is perhaps rather evident, Ryner and I seem to have found ourselves with a few extra eggs about. Should anyone be interested, a list of what's available as best as we can determine is attached.

*There's a pause, then he adds:*

When the video begins, it opens immediately to the big blue eyes of a Joltik and its little OwO face taking up almost the entire screen. It taps the screen with one leg.

"I think it's recording..."

Oh. The voice - Claude's voice, for those familiar with it - is coming from the Joltik. This video must have been recorded a while ago, then - back during those odd few days where people and their pokémon ended up swapping bodies for a bit. (People who were not here for that event may be very confused.) Regardless, Claude, seemingly satisfied that the Gear is doing what he wants it to, promptly leaps away along what turns out to be a counter, like a popped kettle of corn flying out of a pan. Another hop and he's landed near Dedue, who is standing with undeserved patience in the middle of the room - which, now that Claude's entire face is not blocking people's views, is clearly a kitchen. Then Claude turns back to the screen, gesturing dramatically with one foreleg.
